Mass Planting in Your Flower Garden

I know most of us enjoy planting many different kinds of seeds each year for a spectacular, colorful garden! But … have you ever considered planting just one kind of seed into your flower bed space? Think of that effect! Not only would it be easier to care for (think hectic, busy schedules), it would look amazing!

I recommend the Plains Coreopsis because of its’ bright yellow and red coloring and ease in care.

Here are considerations as you choose what that one flower might be for you.

  1. Long blooming season
  2. Repeat blooming
  3. Has aesthetically pleasing leaves or foliage (so when the blooms fade, you still have a beautiful space to gaze upon)
  4. Self-seeders, if you want to make your garden really easy to care for and have the plants return for the next season

Try it, you’ll like it!
