I like to do research during this time of year when I don’t have an actual flower garden to keep me busy. Right now, I’m looking into sprinklers that are best for small gardens. I often just use my watering can for these smaller areas, but I’m not against a more convenient and efficient way to get this task done. Sometimes I find my smaller gardens dry out more quickly, especially those in areas with full sun. Also consider the size and shape of that garden. Consider how close it is to your house walls or your neighbor’s fence (no need to water them). A smaller sprinkler could help you out in these instances.
I have found a few with adjustable spray patterns. It helps when you know some of your plants require more water than others or if you have a garden with an unusual shape. With this type you can target both how far it will reach and the pressure of the spray. Also, if you do have a few small areas and want to move the sprinkler around, make sure it’s easy to carry about. With that in mind, make sure the one you choose has the added feature of being very durable, so you don’t have to replace it often. I found myself checking the reviews to make sure that the quality of its connectors and seal were something that received high marks. I’m guessing that looking at reviews is better than buying and testing a bunch of different sprinklers out! And I’m saving money that way!
Let me know your favorites and I’ll compare those to the ones I’m considering for purchase in another month or so.
