A Bit About … Bellflower Tussock

The Bellflower Tussock has the appearance of a delicate flower, but can tolerate some versatile conditions. It thrives in both full sun or partial sun. The soil can be dry or moist. As far as the weather, it will grow in both hot or cold areas, but needs to germinate in cold weather (or placed in a refrigerator if you don’t get the seeds started in the fall or early winter).

It has an eye-catching lavender-blue color and its blooms are at least 2 inches wide. This beauty will attract butterflies, caterpillars, bumblebees, ladybugs as well as hummingbirds. You’ll enjoy this one as it grows to its height of about 18 inches.
