Z is for Zinnias

Zinnia Lilliput that is! What I like most about this annual growing flower is the surprise you get as they bloom. You never know what colors are going to sprout up. They may be pink or purple, red or white, orange or yellow! What a feeling to see such a wonderful burst of color in your garden!

It’s not necessary to plant their seeds in the winter months to give them a head start in spring. Just plant them in the spring and watch them grow. They are hardy and fast growing. They do well in the hot summer sun! At this time of year, in the heart of summer, you should have plenty of these beauties to display by the vaseful or just leave them in your flower bed for everyone to enjoy!
