Black Eyed Susan

Black Eyed Susan seeds are planted as early as September through January. If they have a chance to establish roots before the weather gets extremely cold or hot, they’ll be fine.  It takes 60 days to reach full maturity. They should be planted 12 to 18 inches apart and will grow 2 to 3 feet in height. Black Eyed Susans will thrive in full sunlight but can also tolerate some shade. The flower colors are orange, yellow and red. Water these when first planting and once a week in the summer. Black Eyed Susans will attract butterflies and dragonflies. You won’t be disappointed with these beauties!
