Two excellent flowers to grow from seed to attract bees in the garden – Black Eyed Susan and Blanket Flower
Bees are needed for our gardens and nearby areas. If you are missing bees and other insects that pollinate, choose these two flowers to attract them. One way of attracting bees is to provide them a source of food regularly. Their food is flowers that produce nectar. Yellow and blue colors work well for bees. The plentiful blooms of blanket flowers (Gaillardia) attract bees. The yellow color along with the large number of blooms of Black Eyed Susans (Rudbeckia Hirt) attract bees.
These flowers can be grown from seed. Ensure these flowers bloom throughout the summer and they will continuously attract bees.
