Chicory loves sunlight and with its added height (can grow to 4 feet), it is perfect as a focal point in your yard, or along side a roadside in the country. The gorgeous periwinkle blue buds, leaves and roots are all edible.  This plant does not bloom the first year so be patient and the next year you will be glad you planted these.
