Shasta Daisies have always been a gardener’s favorite because it is easy to grow and a hardy plant.  It is an easily recognizable flower, with its daisy petals and bright yellow center, that is often used in floral displays because of the fact that it will last for a good couple of weeks.  Shasta Daisies are very easy to maintain and are drought tolerant.  It is quite a sight to see a grouping of them blowing in the wind.
